Committee Roles and Responsibilities
NGFDG Executive Committee (to consist of 5 members)
The Executive Committee has ultimate responsibility for the overall management of all activities of NGFDG encompassing North Kelvin United and NGFDG. It is the main decision making body of the group and is also responsible for formulating and delivering the strategy and policies of the group. The Committee consists of Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Children’s Team Coordinator and Community Coaching coordinator.
Treasurer
Role requirements: You will be required to manage and account for all income and expenditure of NGFDG including training and match fees, pitch hire payment, payment of invoices relating to equipment purchase etc; you will be responsible for the operation of the dedicated bank account for NGFDG and will be one of the co-signatories on the account; you will be required to attend a regular meeting to be held at a time to be agreed by the Committee at which you will produce an up to date and accurate summary of the NGFDG expenditure and income which will also be provided to the NGFDG Executive Committee.
Secretary
Role requirements: You will be responsible for managing the administrative requirements of NGFDG, including handling of all incoming and outgoing correspondence; you will be responsible for ensuring the booking of facilities for training and matches as required and liaison with the league associations and will be the main point of contact for NGFDG; you will manage the registration procedure at Sunday training sessions; you will be required to attend a regular meeting to be held at a time to be agreed by the Committee at which all business of NGFDG is discussed and will keep and circulate the minutes of this meeting.
Children’s Team Coordinator
Role requirements: You will be responsible for managing the administrative requirements of North Kelvin United Junior Teams. Ensuring such areas as coach and player development and fundraising are carried out in accordance with club policy. Acting as a first point of contact for team coaches and players parents. Responsible for reporting updates and matters arising at NGFDG committee meetings.
Community Coaching Coordinator
Role requirements: You will be responsible for managing the administrative requirements of the NGFDG Community Coaching activities. Ensuring such areas as coach and player development and fundraising are carried out in accordance with club policy. Acting as a first point of contact for community partners, community coaches and player parents. Responsible for reporting updates and matters arising at NGFDG committee meetings.
